Our murder mysteries use "resting actors" who
with a theme for the evening throughout dinner conduct events leading
up to the murder, the murder itself and the sequel. This is a full
evening's entertainment with clients participating with the actors.
The Birthday Party
Prima Donna is holding a dinner
to celebrate her birthday. Her daughter, Bella, is attending, as
is the Vicar, The Reverend Chester Minet, who is always available
for this type of celebration!! Many friends are expected to join
her as well as some of her business associates, including Liza Lott
from the Relief Services Emporium for Wealthy and Retired Gentlemen.
It is obvious from the start that Prima is
unhappy with one of her guests, but who is he?, and what does he
want
? It appears that
he is a little out off his class at the dinner, but the local policeman
Eric Bodgitt arrives to wish Prima a happy birthday and says that
he will keep an eye on him. It all seems now that everything is going
to be wonderful, but then the local news reporter, Isla Wright-Hall
arrives. Now everyone seems worried. Why??
The Wedding Party
We are at a dinner celebrating a wedding that
had been held earlier in the day between Major William Jaffa and
Miss Amanda Connor. The couple are facing their first problems of
marriage. Although the wedding ceremony has taken place, the official
register could not be found. It appears that the couple are not technically
married!! The Groom's mother, Lady Skitts Lowe, a nervous wreck at
the best of times, seems to be taking it quite calmly, unlike the
Bride's sister Allison. Family members are in attendance as is the
Vicar, The Reverend William Fumble and the Chief Bridesmaid, Miss
Annabelle Dawes-Bill. What a dilemma and the trouble is only just
beginning
Funds For All
The inhabitants of the village of Prestbury
and surrounding area have been left £1,000,000 in the will
of the late Lady Eva Sue Rich.
A Trust has been set up to distribute sums of money in time for
Christmas to any group showing good cause or need.
Mr Justice Hertz has been appointed Administrator of the Trust and
is heading for the Dinner for the purposes of receiving Claims and
allocating sums of money.
It is expected that various well known Local Charities will be represented,
along with individuals and other small groups wishing to make their
claims.
Rumour has it that the Administrator is biased towards one or two
of the Charities and they do not include the Orphanage or the Donkey
Sanctuary. It is expected that locals will be present to ensure fair
play.
The Village Policeman has been instructed to attend the dinner to
ensure that there is no breach of the peace!
It is obvious that there will be tears before
bedtime
.
But who will be doing what
.?
To whom
.?
And why
.?
