These exercises are also available for corporate away days, for client entertaining or rewarding employees. The emphasis is however directed at fun and challenges without the training/consultancy input.
Planning and getting the best from an 'Away Day' or 'Fun Event'.
1. Carefully consider the age ranges, physical abilities and tastes of the members of the group attending.
2. The larger the group the more activities that are desirable. You do not want people standing around awaiting their turn, then getting bored waiting for others.
3. Consider the time of year for your event. Will you need overhead cover during inclement weather?
4. Are you looking for team activities, individual activities and is competition part of your agenda?
5. When looking at the available time you have remember to add in time to change clothes, specialist briefings and instructions, and mandatory Health and Safety briefings. Also take into consideration that alcohol and the events do not mix and is illegal with motorised and shooting events.
6. At Prestbury House we obtain our events equipment only from highly reputable Corporate Entertainment suppliers who have satisfied us of their professionalism, insurance cover, risk assessments and a policy of providing well maintained equipment, thus eliminating disappointment to our clients. |
