Prestbury House was a private house until 1964 after which it was a private country club, before being converted and refurbished into a full Hotel in 1974.

The current owners, Stephen and Jacqueline Whitbourn, purchased the Prestbury House in 1989 and developed the business from an eight bedroomed hotel to sixteen bedrooms with the conversion of the 350 year old Coach House which stands next to the Main House.

Since 2006 Prestbury House operates as Guest accommodation providing superior accommodation in 14 ensuite bedrooms, with outstanding breakfasts. The Restaurant and bar is only open for special pre-booked functions and events. For evening meals, Cheltenham is full of exciting places to eat, many of which we have booking arrangements with.

Full conference, special functions/celebrations, weddings and training facilities, including outdoors, are all available.
