Prestbury House was a private house until 1964 after which it was a private country club, before being converted and refurbished into a full Hotel in 1974.

The current owners, Stephen and Jacqueline Whitbourn, purchased the Prestbury House in 1989 and developed the business from an eight bedroomed hotel to sixteen bedrooms with the conversion of the 350 year old Coach House which stands next to the Hotel.

The Hotel operates as a superior accommodation provider with outstanding breakfasts. The Restaurant is only open for special pre-booked functions and events. For evening meals, Cheltenham is full of exciting places to eat, many of which we have booking arrangements with.

Full conference, special functions/celebrations, weddings and training facilities, including outdoors, were then developed in 1990 and are constantly reviewed and enhanced.
